'Pottery Throwdown Experiences' - what to expect
You will make a simple plate to start, while learning the techniques to next make your mug. We will have fun making a handle and attach it, followed by the opportunity to decorate it with underglazes or slips. All under the guidance of Fi.
Within two weeks your item should be ready to collect or be posted for an additional £5. Should you make a great plate and wish to get it fired and glazed it will be an additional £5 also.
Please note aprons will be provided but you will be sure to pick up some clay on your clothes, but it washes out pretty easily. Long nails and clay doesn't go very well together so make it easier and have them trimmed.
This Experience is suited to people of all ages from 10 yrs and up.
However, little kids can have fun too, we can tailor an experience for a family with young children too. Just get in touch.
